Friday Faves – Music Festivals

Friday Faves - Music Festivals

I think anybody can relate to this post considering at some point in your life you would have attended such an event. Today for Friday Faves I am talking about why music festivals are the absolute best. It doesn’t matter what type of genre they are I think the love for music is truly universal and going to a festival brings people together. You can dance, drink, eat, sit and relax, whatever your heart desires! Every time I go to one, I feel like I can be myself and let go of all problems. The moment you step into a festival you are transported to a world of your own and you can most definitely leave any stress you have at the gates. What are some festivals you must attend in your lifetime?

1) Coachella – California’s laid back music n arts festival in Indio California.

2) Electric Daisy Carnival – Started by the event company Insomniac, EDC is all over the place now, this all night party should be high up on the bucket list.

3) Lollapalooza – All types of music at this Chicago festival right along the water.

4) Ultra Music Festival – Where it all started in North America, one of the most prestigious Electronic Music Festivals out there in no other than beautiful Miami.

5) Sasquatch – Chill atmosphere and a beautiful night sky at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington. What more could you ask for?

6) Tomorrowland – This one is massive and it is all the way in Belgium! Add this festival to your Europe trip next year.

Friday Faves – In N Out Burger

Friday Faves - In N Out Burger

Screw your diet if you come in contact with an In N Out Burger! The popular western American chain of hamburgers, fries and delicious milkshakes have made it to the very top of my Friday Faves list. These burgers are like nothing you have ever eaten before. Juicy, succulent and full of flavor, anytime I am in California or Las Vegas my first instinct is to get my hands on an In N Out Burger. My girlfriends and I made a trip to Los Angeles in March and the moment we landed we asked the cab driver to make a stop at the nearest In N Out. After scarfing down the greasy deliciousness I came to realize that no matter where I am I continuously think about these world famous burgers. If you have not yet tried one you must make your way down to the USA. Once you have one I guarantee you will be a lifelong customer. If you are feeling quite adventurous I would upgrade your meal to Animal style. I think the name says it all!

Friday Faves – The Hype Machine

Friday Faves - The Hype Machine

Happy Friday to everyone! So I was thinking about some of my favorite things and the one I’m talking about today is an absolute must have. Some of you may know what “The Hype Machine” is but for those who don’t it is an online music website that has literally everything on it. Doesn’t matter what genre you are interested in, Hype Machine has it. Their description of it is: “The best place to find new music on the web. Every day, thousands of people around the world write about music they love — and it all ends up here.” The best part about Hype Machine is there are the originals of songs as well as remixes you have never even heard before. You can access Hype Machine through your computer or download it onto your smart phone. One thing to be careful about is that it uses a lot of data if you are not on Wi-Fi. I would know this because of my $300 cell phone bill that was from listening to the Hype Machine for too long. As long as you monitor it you should be fine. It is highly addictive but download it today and you will not be disappointed. Enjoy 

Friday Faves

Friday Faves

Today I feel extremely tired and lazy; it could be due to the fact that the weather is not very nice outside or that I need to be on vacation ASAP. Vancouver is a lovely place to live but the biggest downside is that it rains a lot. For me this is not only depressing it almost makes it unbearable to live here. I have been thinking all day about being on a warm beach in the sunshine drinking a delicious fruit smoothie. So today for Friday Faves, I thought it would be suitable to talk about the beach. One of my most favorite things on this planet is by far the beach. Warm sand beneath your feet, the ocean so refreshing, if I could I would live on a beach. To me being on a beach lying in the sun is true bliss. I shouldn’t complain too much because in exactly 10 days I will be jetting off to Maui. My goal is to master paddle boarding and surfing, this could be quite a struggle considering surfing is one of the hardest sports I have ever tried. In conclusion, whatever your bliss may be, don’t be afraid to take a break from your busy life to live it. Live where your heart is warm and be with the people that light up your life.
